8:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. – 4:30 P.M., Monday - Friday

Welcome to the website for the 33rd Judicial Circuit. I hope you find the information you need concerning your court system.

The Thirty-Third Circuit consists of Dale and Geneva County. The Circuit was formed by the Act No. 644 on November 20, 1959. Before 1959, Dale County was in the old 3rd Circuit with Barbour County, and Geneva County was in a Circuit with Covington County.

The current Dale County Courthouse was built in 1968 by the Madison Construction Company. The Courthouse was updated in 2015. The county is named for famed soldier and frontiersman Samuel Dale. The population of Dale County is 50,251.

In 2017 in Dale County there was 1,760 new Circuit Court cases filed and the breakdown was: 51% Criminal, 14% Civil, and 35% Domestic. For the same year there was 7,038 District Court cases filed and the breakdown was: 17% Criminal, 49% Traffic; 18% Small Claims, 4% Civil, 7% Juvenile, and 6% Child Support.
